Nation’s is looking for a Recruiter as part of our HR Team who’s passionate about the restaurant industry, bilingual in Spanish, and ready to make an immediate impact!
You’ll work closely with our SVP of People Operations and Director of Operations to help find, support, and grow the incredible people who support our restaurants. From boot-on-the-ground recruiting to onboarding new hires you’ll play a key role in shaping the performance of our teams across multiple locations.
This is a salary position based on-site at our Main Office in El Cerrito, CA with an expectation of working 9am to 6pm. While most of our restaurants are located throughout Northern California, we also have few locations in Texas—with plans to opening many more!
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Managing the full recruitment cycle.
- Visit restaurants to review applications, interview staff for the locations and recruit talent in the area.
- Onboard new hires and troubleshoot issues with Manager and payroll.
- Communicate with new hires on orientation and schedule until fully transitioned to Manager.
- Track and address attendance for new hires during openings.
- Submit expense reimbursements for new hires to payroll when necessary.
- Manage, assign and track harassment prevent training.
- Contact Area Supervisor for recruiting updates.
- Jumping in wherever needed to add value, bring solutions, and support our mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 – 3 years of recruiting experience.
- Experience in the restaurant is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Sharp instincts for solving problems proactively.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Rapid communicator with the confidence to communicate with management constantly.
- Comfortable with UKG (HRIS) and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
